Everything in the universe points to the greatness and power of Allah. He is the one who raised the heavens, ascended the Throne, subjected the sun and the moon, spread the earth and placed firm mountains and rivers therein, sent down water and brought forth fruits thereby, and subjected ships, night, and day. If people believe in these signs, there is no impediment to believing in the natural appearance of the word "Allah" (Jalalalah) or "La ilaha illa Allah" (There is no god but Allah) in many things, such as what a spider weaves, what trees form, the appearance of the word "Ahad" (One) in a picture of the sun, or the word "Allah" engraved on a wrestler's muscles. These phenomena are cosmic signs that indicate the power and greatness of Allah, and there is no blame on newspapers for publishing what has been confirmed to them of such phenomena. However, if it has not been confirmed, it is not permissible to publish it except as a narration attributed to its speaker; otherwise, it is a forbidden lie.
