How can one set a practical program for repentance and for organizing time for worship, seeking knowledge in the branches of creed, jurisprudence, education, and matters of the heart?

Repentance to Allah is an obligation upon the servant, and it is imperative to hasten to it. Allah has promised forgiveness for all sins to those who repent, as stated in His noble verse: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by committing sins], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.' And return [in repentance] to your Lord and submit to Him before the punishment comes upon you; then you will not be helped." Times for worship are specified in the Quran and Sunnah, but the entire life of a Muslim should be devoted to the worship of Allah, as the Most High describes the people of understanding: "Those who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], 'Our Lord, You did not create this in vain. Exalted are You; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire,'" and as in His noble verse: "Say, 'Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds.'" For seeking knowledge, it is preferable to start with concise works and fundamental principles in each field, such as the book "Al-Iman" by Dr. Muhammad Na'im Yasin for creed, "Manar al-Sabil" for jurisprudence, and "Mukhtasar Minhaj al-Qasidin" for spiritual development and devotional acts.
