Does kissing one's wife during her 'iddah period, while hesitant about taking her back, constitute a رجعة (revocation of divorce)?

Kissing a revocably divorced woman is forbidden according to the Shafi'is and the predominant view of the Malikis. The deliberate perpetrator incurs sin and must repent. However, the Hanbalis and Hanafis permit it, and there is no sin in it according to them. This kissing is considered a revocable return (raj'ah) by the Hanafis, even without the intention of reconciliation, whereas the majority of scholars believe it is not a raj'ah. The husband can take back his revocably divorced wife before the expiration of her 'iddah (waiting period).
