He must adhere to Islamic legal guidelines, which include: the hotel being free of female workers and intermingling (ikhtilat), not playing music, not allowing customers to watch corrupting channels, verifying the identity of any woman accompanying a guest, ensuring rooms and the restaurant are free from prohibited foods and drinks, not opening a health club or swimming pool except with Islamic legal controls, and providing a small Islamic library in each room. Finally, attention must be paid to cleanliness and prices. Conservative Islamic hotels have become widespread in many Islamic countries.
