If God is omnipotent, why did He send Muhammad to beseech His servants to worship Him?

God did not send messengers because He needed their worship, but to establish proof against them and to cut off their excuses. God is capable of making all people on Earth believers by force. Your friend should flee with his religion and avoid sitting with atheists, and begin seeking beneficial knowledge, especially the science of creed (aqidah).
