Is it permissible to utilize an existing building on inherited land without the permission of its living owner?

It is not permissible to enter or use another's property without their permission, whether it is a house, a garden, or anything else. This is stated in the Fiqh Encyclopedia and mentioned by jurists such as Ibn Hamdan al-Hanbali, and in the books of the Shafi'i school.
