Is it permissible to go to a sorcerer in order to undo sorcery?

It is not permissible to undo magic with magic, because it is from the work of Satan and has been forbidden. Rather, it is undone with the Qur’an, prophetic supplications, and permissible remedies. As for those scholars who permitted it, their words were either misunderstood or rejected by the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Magic is forbidden and an act of disbelief, and it is not permissible to seek help through it under any circumstances, because the truth suffices over falsehood.
