Is it obligatory for someone who felt stomach cramps and vomited, then was given medical injections in the hospital, and did not break their fast for the rest of the day—having reached puberty but not yet experiencing ejaculation—to make up that day of Ramadan?

If a fasting person makes the intention to fast during the night, then their fast is valid, unless they use another fast-breaking agent after dawn, other than an intramuscular injection, for it does not break the fast. If they do not make the intention during the night, then their fast is not valid according to the majority of scholars, whereas it is valid according to the Malikis with a single intention made at the beginning of Ramadan.
