Is it permissible to perform Dhikr quickly or without contemplation, or to use a table for counting Dhikr? And what is the ruling on unintentional errors in Dhikr, such as uttering something inappropriate?

A Muslim should ponder the meanings of remembrance (dhikr) and sense the greatness of Allah. However, dhikr without contemplation still contains great reward and goodness, and it should not be abandoned by those unable to contemplate. It is permissible to use a table or prayer beads to keep track of the number of remembrances, and errors are excused, for Allah Almighty says: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [only for] what your hearts intended," and because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, Allah has overlooked for my Ummah errors, forgetfulness, and what they are coerced into."
