Which of the Companions ruled Egypt twice?
If a woman menstruates or experiences postpartum bleeding, prayer, fasting, circumambulation (Tawaf), touching the Mushaf (copy of the Qur'an), and reciting from the Mushaf are forbidden to her, according to the preponderant opinion of scholars. However, it is permissible for her to recite from memory whatever is easy for her from the Qur'an if she needs to, for example, for fear of forgetting, or if she is a teacher and wants to teach, or if she is a student and wants to learn, provided that her recitation is not a formal recitation of the Qur'an with Tajweed, but rather an ordinary recitation for memorization or teaching.
We have previously clarified the ruling on a menstruating woman reciting the Qur'an from memory in the following fatwas: 3016, 12842, 28723.
And we clarified the ruling on a menstruating woman touching the Mushaf in fatwa number: 12437.
And Allah knows best.
