Is it permissible for a menstruating woman to touch the Mushaf in order to recite her daily litany (wird) and for memorization?

The madhhab of the majority of scholars is that it is not permissible for a menstruating woman to touch the Mushaf (copy of the Qur’an) or recite the Qur’an. Some of them held the view that it is permissible for her to recite the Qur’an without touching it, and some went further, permitting touching it in the case of learning and teaching. The preferred (opinion) is the first, and the permissibility is restricted to recitation for remembrance, such as Ayat al-Kursī in the morning, evening, before sleeping, and similar instances.
