What is the ruling on consuming the placenta and umbilical cord after drying and grinding them as a treatment for cancer?

Consuming human flesh is forbidden by Islamic law, whether it be the placenta or other parts, for medicinal purposes or otherwise. This is because Allah has not made the cure for His nation in what He has forbidden to them. Treatment with forbidden substances is repugnant, both rationally and religiously. What Allah has forbidden, He has forbidden due to its inherent impurity, and it is not fitting to seek healing from it. For even if it removes the sickness of the body, it is followed by a greater sickness in the heart and imbues nature and the soul with impurity. Furthermore, permitting treatment with forbidden substances is a gateway to consuming them out of desire, which contravenes the very intent of the Lawgiver.
