The questioner must calculate the time when her wealth reached the (minimum threshold) using the Hijri date and make this date the season for paying Zakat every year. It is not permissible to deliberately delay Zakat after it becomes due. Rather, it is obligatory to hasten its payment immediately upon the completion of the hawl (one lunar year).
