What is the ruling on a woman in 'iddah visiting her children or others?

A woman whose husband has died must stay in her home and not leave it except out of necessity. She must also avoid five things during her waiting period ('iddah):

1. Remaining in the home until the 'iddah ends.

2. Not wearing beautiful clothes.

3. Not wearing any type of jewelry, including watches.

4. Not using kohl or any other facial adornment.

5. Not using any type of perfume except when purifying from menstruation.

However, she is permitted to leave for essential needs, such as going to court, the hospital, or the market.
