Where will the Mahdi emerge from? And where will Jesus (peace be upon him) descend?

The religious texts do not specify when the Mahdi will emerge, but he will emerge at the end of time, before the Dajjal and the descent of Jesus, peace be upon him.

As for the place of his emergence, there is no explicit, ثابت text mentioning it. The hadiths that speak of his emergence from Khurasan, Mecca, or the village of "Kar'a" in Yemen are weak or not authentic.

However, Jesus, peace be upon him, will descend at the white minaret east of Damascus, as stated in Sahih Muslim and other authentic hadiths.
