What is the ruling on money acquired from assisting in the forgery of a university degree, and how should it be handled, and what is the method for getting rid of it if it is unlawful?
If "تسوية الشهادة" (equalizing a certificate/degree) means obtaining it for someone undeserving through purchase and forgery, then this is unlawful (), as it constitutes cooperation in lying, deceit, and forgery. Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." The money taken in exchange for this is unlawful (haram) and one must refrain from fulfilling the request, and instead counsel and warn the person making the request. If the money has been taken, it must be returned. If the request has been fulfilled, one must repent and spend the acquired money on charitable causes. However, if something else is meant, then clarification is needed.
