Is it better to finish reading the book or to stop to listen to the Adhan, given that the Adhan cannot be heard clearly?

Scholars have stated that if a person reciting the Qur’an hears the adhan, they should pause their recitation to repeat the adhan, because this is an instance of prioritizing a less virtuous act for a sound reason. If this is established regarding the Book of Allah, then it applies even more so to other books.
