What is the ruling on one who swore an oath of divorce intending to threaten his wife not to tell anyone from her family, and not to contact them without his knowledge, and not to let anyone from her family into the house without his knowledge, but she violated that?

A disobedient wife (nashiz) should not allow anyone into her husband's home whom he dislikes, and it is an act of disobedience (nushuz) to defy her husband in this matter. The husband ought not to have conditioned divorce to deter her from her disobedience, but since it has already been issued, an oath of divorce is equivalent to a conditional divorce. A conditional divorce takes effect upon the occurrence of the condition if he intended divorce by it. According to the majority of scholars, the wife becomes divorced upon doing what her husband forbade her from. According to some scholars, the husband is obligated to offer an expiation for an oath. Such cases are to be brought before a Sharia judge.
