Is it permissible for a merchant to sell a commodity knowing it has a defect after purchasing it, and the seller refused to take it back?

Whoever buys a defective commodity has the right to return it to the seller. If the seller refuses, the buyer may refer the matter to a judge. If the buyer accepts it, he may do so, but he is not permitted to sell it to others unless he clarifies the defect it contains, due to the hadith: "Whoever cheats is not from me," and the hadith: "If they are truthful and clarify, they will be blessed in their transaction, and if they conceal and lie, the blessing of their transaction will be erased."
