What is the ruling on money earned from working in a hotel that involves carrying alcohol, along with the intention to repent?

Working in the business of carrying and serving alcoholic beverages to those who drink them is forbidden. Therefore, whoever has done this must perform sincere repentance. As for the money earned from this work, if the work was originally permissible but involved carrying alcohol sometimes, then the money is mixed. The forbidden portion must be estimated and disposed of by spending it on Muslim welfare and charitable deeds. A poor person in need may benefit from it to the extent that it alleviates their poverty and need.
