Why do we not say "Allahumma salli 'ala Sayyidina Muhammad" in the Ibrahimiyya prayer, and content ourselves with "Muhammad" only?
The Ibrahimiyyah Prayer has a narrated formula from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and no addition of the word "sayyidina" (our master) has been authentically established within it. Therefore, not mentioning it is an adherence to what is narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and this is preferable and more appropriate.
