Is it permissible to delay menstruation with pills for the wedding night?

There is no harm in taking pills to delay menstruation, provided that no harm results from it. A trustworthy female doctor must be consulted. It is better to postpone the wedding until you are purified from menstruation. It must be emphasized that it is forbidden to have intercourse with one's wife in her private parts while she is menstruating, by agreement of the Muslims.
