Is it permissible to supplicate from a paper during prayer, especially on Friday, seeking a response to the supplication?

It is permissible to make supplications from a paper during prayer or outside of it, especially for someone who does not memorize the supplication. However, it is more complete for the worshipper to have memorized the supplication, as that is closer to achieving devotion (khushu'). The supplications made during prayer should be concise and brief.
