What is the meaning of the Hadith: "Indeed, the worst of people is the two-faced one, who comes to these with one face and to those with another face"?

The two-faced person is the worst of people because he approaches each group with what pleases them, making each believe he belongs to them and opposes their adversaries. He is a hypocrite who flatters with falsehood and lies, and who spreads corruption among people. This act is hypocrisy, lying, deceit, and forbidden flattery. However, whoever intends to reconcile between two groups by doing so is praiseworthy. The difference between the two is that the blameworthy one beautifies each group's actions while making them ugly to the other, and disparages each group to the other. The praiseworthy one, on the other hand, approaches each group with words that benefit the other, makes excuses for each to the other, conveys as much good as possible to them, and conceals the bad.
