What is the ruling on a boy gifting an expensive watch to his friend with the permission of his guardian?

Among the conditions for the validity of a gift (hiba) are that the donor be an adult, of sound mind, and the owner of the gifted item. Therefore, a gift from a child is not valid due to their immaturity, regardless of whether their father or guardian permitted it or not. This act is invalid because it carries potential harm to the child. However, if a child brings a gift and says that their father sent them with it, then the gift is valid unless the recipient doubts the child's truthfulness.
