What is the meaning of "al-jazaʿ" (impatience/distress) in the Hadith: "When Allah loves a people, He afflicts them; whoever is patient will have patience, and whoever is distressed will have distress," and is someone who sometimes experiences despair and panic not considered patient? And what is meant by the phrase: "When Allah loves a people"?

Impatience (al-jaza’) is a lack of submission to Allah’s decrees. Its manifestations include complaining to other than Allah, showing discontent, and certain actions such as tearing clothes, slapping the face, and panicking at the time of calamity. However, mere fleeting negative thoughts that a person quickly dismisses, or crying and sadness, do not contradict patience. And whoever shows impatience will suffer its consequences, meaning they bear the burden of their impatience. Allah Almighty loves those who fear Him and obey Him, and He may dislike those who disobey Him. Therefore, He does not love all His servants.
