Is it permissible for a father to take his children's maid for his new wife, despite their need for her?

One should be patient with a father who gets angry frequently, supplicate for him often, and involve someone who can advise him and influence him. Also, one should try to understand the causes of his anger and work to eliminate them. His ill-treatment should not be a reason for his children to treat him badly or to neglect their duties towards him. A husband is not obliged to provide a maid for any of his wives unless her condition necessitates it, and he should not take a maid from one of his wives to give her to another.
