Is it permissible for a father to force his divorced daughter to marry, despite her unwillingness to do so?

A father does not have the right to force his adult, sane daughter to marry someone she does not desire. However, she is advised to obey him if the suitor is righteous and there is no legal impediment to the marriage, due to the religious and worldly benefits in marriage, and because building a righteous family is more important than jobs and careers in a woman's life.
