What is the ruling on someone who seeks forgiveness from a person they have wronged, while the wronged person cannot forgive them from the heart and invokes curses upon the wrongdoer?

Allah has forbidden harming a Muslim and has permitted the wronged to seek justice from their oppressor through supplication (du'a) against them, commensurate with the wrong inflicted.
