Is re-reading a verse from its middle for any reason an innovation (bid‘ah)?

We do not consider re-reading a verse from its middle to be an innovation (bid'ah), as evidenced by the fact that scholars ofوقف وابتداء (pause and re-start) have explicitly permitted this, and even deemed it commendable in some cases. This is particularly true when the beginning of the subsequent verse does not convey meaning except by referring back to what preceded it, as in the Almighty’s saying: "that you may ponder upon this world and the Hereafter."
