What is the Sharīʿah's view on the stance of a mother who refuses to sell or divide the inherited house until after her death, and is it permissible according to Sharīʿah to suspend the division of inheritance until death?

If the inherited house cannot be divided without causing harm, then it should only be divided by mutual consent or by some of you selling your share to others. If one of the partners requests the sale of properties whose division would cause harm, and the division of their price, then the rest are obligated to sell and will be compelled to do so. Therefore, it is not permissible for the mother to refuse to divide the inheritance or to suspend it until her death, nor is it permissible for the brother to undervalue the house.
