What is the ruling on Hajj if the ablution (wudu') performed before the first 'Umrah was incorrect, leading to the continuation of the state of ihram?

If the intention was to wipe the head and ears with a single water, then the ablution (wudu') is valid according to the majority of scholars who hold that renewing the water for the ears is a Sunnah (definition). Some of them even believe that wiping the head and ears with a single water is sufficient because they are like a single limb. Furthermore, wiping the ears is a Sunnah, not an obligation, according to the majority. Based on this, the ablution is valid, and the prayer, Hajj, or Umrah (definition) are valid.
