Is the sermon, "Then the year will be like a month...", attributed to Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), which describes the people of the End of Times, authentic, or is it a fabrication of the Rafidah?

The origin of the aforementioned sermon has not been found. Al-Ghazali mentioned in "Ihya' 'Ulum al-Din" a report from the Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt) that in the End of Times, people will go out for Hajj in four categories: their rulers for recreation, their wealthy for trade, their poor for begging, and their reciters (of Quran) for reputation. Al-Iraqi indicated that the preacher narrated it from a weak chain of transmission attributed to Anas, and that Abu Othman Al-Sabouni narrated it in "Kitab Al-Mi'atayn" without mentioning the chain of transmission from Ahl al-Bayt. The closest to these words found is a weak hadith narrated by Al-Mu'afa bin Zakariya from Ibn Abbas, in an elaborated form, and it was mentioned by Al-Tuwaijri who attributed it to Ibn Mardawayh.
