What is the appropriate action to take when dealing with strong sexual urges that affect concentration, while currently unable to marry and desiring not to displease God?

Allah has legislated marriage so that people may find stability, and as a remedy for anxiety and disorder. Allah commanded it in the Quran and His Messenger in the Sunnah. It oscillates between being obligatory and recommended. It is obligatory for anyone who fears falling into sin and finds a way to it. The questioner should hasten to marry, for Allah has promised provision through it; otherwise, he should resort to fasting.
