Is it permissible to change my son's name, Muhammad, to another name from the names of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, due to the difficulty of the name for him?

It is recommended to name the newborn with the names of the prophets and messengers, and the best of them is the name of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. Naming with the names of the prophets reminds one of them and their attributes, and the scholars have unanimously agreed on its permissibility. It is preferable to keep the son's name as it is if it is good and liked, and the problem of the child not distinguishing the name disappears with age, and naming with this good name is common and people do not find any difficulty in it.
