Is it obligatory for a young man to strive with his wealth, and how much must he strive for the obligation to be lifted from him and for Allah to be pleased? Is it permissible to divide his wealth as follows: 200 Saudi riyals for himself, 300 Saudi riyals for his mother, 500 Saudi riyals for his Mujahid brother, and 500 Saudi riyals for the Mujahideen? Is it permissible to give his Mujahid brother 1000 Saudi riyals and his mother 300 Saudi riyals?

"The maintenance of your needy mother is obligatory upon you and takes precedence over others, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Your mother, then your mother, then your mother, then your father, then your closest relatives,' and his saying: 'It is sufficient sin for a person to neglect those whom he is obliged to support.' The maintenance should be increased if 300 is not sufficient for her needs, and anything beyond that can be spent on your brother or other relatives."
