Are the following Hadiths authentic: 1. "There is no dutiful child who looks at his parents with a glance of mercy except that Allah writes for him, with every glance, an accepted Hajj." They asked: "Even if he looks a hundred times every day?" He said: "Yes, Allah is Greater and More Generous." 2. "He has not honored his father who looks at him with anger." 3. "Whoever awakens obedient to Allah regarding his parents, two open gates of Paradise await him; and if only one, then one. And whoever awakens disobedient to Allah Almighty regarding his parents, two open gates of Hell await him; and if only one, then one." A man asked: "Even if they wronged him?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Even if they wronged him, even if they wronged him, even if they wronged him." 4. "It will be said to the disobedient child: 'Do what you wish of obedience, for I will not forgive you.' And it will be said to the dutiful child: 'Do what you wish, for I will forgive you'"?
These four hadiths are all weak, and some are even fabricated: 1. The hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "There is no dutiful son who looks at his parents or his mother with a gaze of mercy, except that Allah Almighty writes down that gaze as an accepted and righteous Hajj..." 2. The hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "He who glares at his father with anger has not honored him." 3. The hadith of Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "Whoever wakes up obedient to his parents, two doors of Paradise are opened for him..." 4. The hadith of Aisha (may Allah Almighty be pleased with her): "It will be said to the disobedient child: 'Do whatever acts of obedience you wish, for I will not forgive you.' And it will be said to the dutiful child: 'Do whatever you wish, for I will forgive you.'"
It is not permissible to cite any of them. Filial piety and disobedience to parents are established by the Qur'an and the authentic Sunnah.
