What is the ruling on a Muslim wife working as a servant for a disbeliever when her husband is able to provide, and is seeking divorce in prayer considered a severance of kinship ties?

It is permissible for a Muslim woman to work for a non-Muslim, unless the work is forbidden or involves humiliation for her, such as domestic service, even if she is not compelled to do so. If the work is permissible, does not involve humiliation, and adheres to Islamic guidelines, there is no objection to it. However, it is preferable for a woman to remain in her home and care for her husband and children. As for praying for divorce, if it is for a legitimate reason, such as a husband's injustice or bad character, then it is not a sin or severing of ties, and the prayer will be answered.
