The ruling on the remaining amount of money donated for the deceased depends on the intention of the donors:
If their intention was to spend the money solely on the patient's treatment, then the remainder should be returned to them or to their representative. If their intention was to transfer ownership of the money to the patient for treatment and other purposes, then the patient owns the entire sum, and the remainder belongs to all of his heirs.
