Is it Sunnah for the groom to carry a sword in his hand at the wedding ceremony?

It has not been established that a bride carrying a sword is from the , nor has any scholar stated it to be so. Therefore, it is a permissible custom, and it is not permissible to attribute it to the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
