Do the angels need a whole year to record the good deeds of the supplication "There is no god but Allah, as many as there has been and as many as there will be, and as many as the movements and stillness"?
No evidence has been found to prove that the angel writes down the measures of good deeds (hasanat). This is among the matters of the Unseen (Ghayb) that can only be known through a text from the Qur’an or the authentic Sunnah. A Muslim should focus on the established texts of revelation that encourage good deeds, instead of occupying himself with matters for which there is no proof.
