How can I be patient and content with God's decree, and overcome despair and relapse, especially with the abundance of psychological, physical, and sexual afflictions? And is the highest Paradise (Firdaws al-A'la) restricted to prophets and companions, or can a person with many sins attain it?
Ways to be patient in the face of calamities include: contemplating Allah's blessings and thanking Him for them, recalling Allah's mercy and gentleness, looking at those who are less fortunate, and remembering the immense reward for those who are patient. To achieve healing from obsessive thoughts and illnesses, one should supplicate frequently and avoid daydreaming by occupying oneself with beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds. As for sins, Allah is Vast in forgiveness, and one should repent and renew their covenant with Him. Regarding delayed marriage, the matter is in Allah's hands, and goodness lies in obeying Him and having a good opinion of Him. Paradise (al-Firdaws) is available to sincere believers, and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded us to ask Allah for al-Firdaws.
