What is the difference between assuaging the foolish and remaining silent about abuse, and demanding courage, claiming one's rights, and Umar ibn Al-Khattab's saying: "What I admire in a man, when faced with a plan of oppression, is for him to say 'No' with a full mouth"?

"Mudarah" (conciliation) is the offering of worldly things for the sake of their rectification or for the rectification of religion, or for both, or it is the act of being gentle with people and interacting with them kindly without corrupting one's religion. It is legislated to repel injustice or forbidden acts, and it may be obligatory, recommended, or disliked depending on the need and the means. Wisdom is placing something in its rightful place. Forgiveness and pardon towards the oppressor and being charitable to him are among the recommended acts of nearness to Allah.
