The answer

The aforementioned is weak. Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, Al-Sakhawi, and Al-Albani have all denounced it. It has been narrated with the wording: "He does not die until he is given glad tidings of Paradise," which is a Munkar (denounced) hadith. A Munkar hadith is extremely weak and cannot be acted upon, even in matters of virtuous deeds.
