What is the ruling on working for a government agency that inspects insured goods, knowing that it is the only reliable agency?

Commercial insurance, in all its forms, is prohibited (haram (definition)). However, there is no sin upon someone who is compelled to partake in it. It is not permissible to assist or mediate in prohibited insurance, as this constitutes cooperation in sin. As for compulsory insurance, it is permissible for the one who is compelled to partake in it, and it is permissible to assist them in that instance. Therefore, it is not permissible to work in anything related to optional prohibited insurance. However, it is permissible to work in areas of the company that are unrelated to insurance, or in matters related to compulsory insurance.
