What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a couple remaining together after the wife has requested a divorce and the judge has issued a divorce certificate that they have not signed due to their reconciliation on the same day?

A woman is not permitted to seek a divorce unless there is harm. However, if harm is present, there is no objection. If the husband writes down the divorce or pronounces it verbally, it takes effect, even if he does not sign it. He may take his wife back if her iddah (waiting period) has not ended and if it is not the third divorce or a divorce for compensation. However, if he intended it but did not pronounce it verbally or write it down, and then changed his mind, nothing takes effect. The presence of daughters does not affect the ruling on divorce.
