Is it permissible to secretly take money from a wealthy mother for marriage and to seek chastity, knowing that the father is wealthy and capable and agrees with the mother on not marrying their son?

It is not permissible to take a mother's money for marriage or anything else without her permission and consent, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The property of a Muslim person is not lawful unless given with his full consent." If the son has no money, his marriage becomes an obligation upon the financially able father, according to the Hanbalis. If he has no father or his father is in financial hardship, then his maintenance becomes an obligation upon the affluent mother, and providing for chastity is part of the obligatory maintenance. If the father refuses, the matter can be raised to the Sharia court. It is also advised to supplicate and seek intercession from someone who has influence with the parents.
