Is it permissible to keep photographic images of one's wife after she has been divorced with three pronouncements of divorce, despite the divorce being under duress?

Scholars differ on the ruling concerning photographs. Some have forbidden them by analogy with other prohibited images, while others have permitted them, arguing that they do not imitate Allah's creation. However, it is forbidden to photograph what one is not permitted to look at, such as women without necessity or 'awrah (private parts). It is also not permissible to keep photographs of one's wife after she has been divorced thrice, because she has become a stranger (non-mahram). If the divorce occurred under duress, meaning she uttered the words unintentionally, then the divorce does not take effect. But if she intended to resolve problems through it, then it is considered a valid divorce.
