Is ghusl required for a woman if her husband kisses her for a long time, and she then finds white, mucous-like discharge after her desire subsides?
If a woman feels genuine desire and a fluid is discharged, it is either maniy (sperm/sexual discharge) or madhiy (pre-ejaculatory fluid). Maniy necessitates (ritual bath) and is accompanied by pleasure upon discharge. Madhiy only necessitates wudu' (ablution) along with purifying any part of the body or clothes it touches, and it is not accompanied by pleasure. If a woman is unsure which of the two it is, she may choose one of them. If it becomes clear that it is madhiy, then ' (washing the private parts), washing its trace from the garment, and wudu' are sufficient; and ghusl is also sufficient in its place. The intention for purification is enough, even if she did not intend to lift the ritual impurity. If a person prayed with a garment stained with madhiy unknowingly, their prayer is valid, and they should purify the garment afterwards.
