What is the ruling concerning the days during which the woman abstained from prayer, thinking it was her menstrual period, but then it became clear later that it was not?

The emission of blood after purification due to exertion is not considered menstruation; rather, it is a dysfunctional bleeding. The woman must perform what pure women do, such as prayer, fasting, and circumambulation (tawaf). It is not permissible for her to abandon prayer because of it, for that blood is from a vein and not menstrual blood, by scholarly consensus. It is recommended to make up the prayers that were missed under the assumption that it was menstruation.
